Condition And Originality

Original pickups, wiring, controls, bridge, tailpiece and vibrato equipment affect value. Changed pickups, drilled holes and missing hardware can lower it. On a 00-18E, assess the top, bridge and neck angle as well as the electrical components. Older acoustic F-series archtops use separate ranges.

For the broader comparison, read how repairs and changed parts affect guitar value. If the finish has been changed, the refinish value guide explains full and partial work.
