Condition And Originality
Factory identity, bridge type, tuners, neck scale and original finish determine the correct range. Refinishing, replacement tops or necks, side repairs and changed bridge plates can materially affect value. Substantially altered guitars require individual appraisal. Modern OM-28s and later 000-28s fall outside these ranges.
For the broader comparison, read how repairs and changed parts affect guitar value. If the finish has been changed, the refinish value guide explains full and partial work and why an acoustic needs its own assessment.
