What an absolute gem we have here from 1951! This 00-18 came to us from the original owner in excellent condition and completely original. The instrument was evidently very well cared for over the years. The guitar just needed a neck reset for optimal playability, which was expertly performed with a fingerboard extension shim to avoid any fallaway. The result is a super clean, all original, and exceedingly playable 00-18! The guitar is overall in very nice condition with just some typical finish checking and light wear to cement in place this guitar’s vintage pedigree. This guitar sounds fantastic with that classic crisp and loud x braced 00 tone. The guitar plays amazingly well with low action and no buzz. It also comes with the lovely original hard case in very nice shape. Ships promptly and fully insured.
