Crafted during the glory days of four string fineries, this TG-1 is truly a beautiful instrument to behold. Gorgeous headstock inlay and a lovely dark Brazilian Rosewood board pair beautifully with that classic 30s Gibson sunburst. The guitar plays fantastic and has just returned from my luthier for a few brace reglues and a setup. The sound on this one is just stellar! Crisp, sweet, and loud with plenty of sustain. It is currently strung up with the top 4 strings of a 6 string guitar, but comes with a set of tenor guitar strings. The guitar has some finish flaking on the back and elsewhere as seen in the photos, but is overall a handsome instrument, especially when viewed from the front. (you’re not going to be playing it backwards on stage anytime soon are you?) Ships promptly and fully insured.
