An exceptionally clean example of a mid-’60s Fender classic, this 1966 Telecaster Custom in original Sunburst finish is as visually striking as it is inspiring to play. The double-bound alder body shows only the lightest signs of wear, with a deep, vibrant sunburst that has aged beautifully and retains remarkable gloss and color.

The neck is smooth and comfortable, with the classic mid-’60s Fender “C” profile, that feels nice and substantial in the hand and a beautifully preserved finish. The original single-coil pickups sound absolutely alive—bright and articulate in the bridge, warm and dynamic in the neck—delivering that unmistakable Tele sparkle and bite that define this era. The maple cap neck sets it apart from many tele customs, and add that nice bit of snap and thud that often seems to be missing from rosewood board models.

All hardware and electronics are original and exceptionally clean, functioning exactly as they should. The guitar has clearly been well cared for, showing only minimal wear for its age. It has been professionally refretted, but is 100% original otherwise and it comes with the original case.
