Fender Esquire 1951 – Broadcaster Conversion – Blonde

Out of stock

Do you dream of owning an early blackguard, but don’t want to get a second mortgage? This may be the perfect piece for you!

I acquired this guitar from a gentleman who owned it since the early 60s. Sometime in the 80s, he felt that the guitar had too much wear and decided to have it restored and converted to a broadcaster. The guitar was fully refinished (nitro) and a neck pickup was added. (the guitar had also previously had a different neck pickup added and it was routed. This route was professionally filled before the refinish.) The guitar also got new tuners and a refret as well as new pots.

This guitar has a nice chunky v shaped neck and it plays fantastically well! The original bridge pickup is TO DIE for and the guitar has a very nice natural resonance and woody tone. The guitar comes with the original hard case and it ships promptly and fully insured.
