Custom Ordered Martin D-45 – Brazilian Rosewood – Scalloped FS Bracing – 1993

This one is special. Really special. Not only is it a unique, top of the line custom ordered piece, but this is truly one of the finest sounding Dreadnoughts I have ever played. It is LOUD, it has headroom for days, it is super responsive to dynamics, and it even sounds absolutely stellar fingerpicked. You will not be disappointed. Now lets get on to the specs. This guitar was custom ordered in 1993. It cost $11,300 back then ($24,500 today). It has beautiful Brazilian back and sides and headstock overlay and forward shifted scalloped bracing, as well as D-45 appointments all throughout. I acquired the guitar from the original owner, who custom ordered it more so as a collectible and investment piece rather than to play. Consequently, it has only been very lightly played over the years and it is in near mint condition. The guitar comes with all of the original paperwork and the hard case.
