1 of 15! Martin 00-18 (Wurlitzer 2086) 1924 – Natural

Rare barely even begins to describe this old girl!! Martin only produced 15 of these Wurlitzer branded 00-18s! This one has certainly had a storied past, with plenty of crack repairs and a partial refinish on the left side section only. It has a replaced bridge plate. It also has tons of wear throughout as you can see. That being said, it is a beautiful playing and sounding guitar, with a great neck angle and fantastic playability. It has a crisp and woody attack with a wonderful responsive tone. It currently is strung with silk and steel 11s and is holding them with ease. No bellying or any issues of that nature. All in all, this is a fantastic and rare martin that is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner for years to come! Comes with a 1940s/50s Gibson chipboard case that fits it very well.
