One Owner! Gibson ES-345TD 1963 – Sunbust

Just in from the the original owner’s son, this beautiful es-345 is all original minus the tuners and tailpiece, and is a real joy to play! It features two fantastic sounding original Pat. No. pickups and a neck that is more substantial than the 1960-1962 ES necks. This guitar has a fantastic feel and has tons of vintage tones thanks to the Varitone and wonderful sounding pickups.

The tuners have been replaced, and there is a bit of chipping on two of them where the holes were widened to accommodate the new tuners. Additionally, the tailpiece has been replaced with a high quality light weight vintage style tailpiece. Otherwise, the guitar is all original! Finish, electronics, frets and hardware! It has an original gold, no wire ABR with nylon saddles. The original owner added his initials to the pickguard of the guitar as well as his name on a label on the outside of the case.

This guitar plays with very low action and no buzz. It has only very light fret wear in the lower registers and the truss rod functions great. It weighs 8.24lbs.
