Martin D-18 1951 – Road Warrior – Insane Sound!

Out of stock

Another one out of the personal collection! I got this one from a good ol’ boy in South Carolina. It has been through a lot in its life as you can see. This guitar sounds insanely good and plays fantastic after a neck reset and some tidying up from my luthier. It has a loud, sweet tone with tons of articulation and a musical and clear low end. It has a top crack repair and a few repaired side cracks as well as PLENTY of wear. The pickguard (and two mini pickguards) are not original. The bridge is not original and has 3 Gibson style bolts installed. The bridge plate is not original and is made of rosewood. The bridge has some wood filler around it. The face of the headstock has some scratching/scuffing. The tuners are not original. This old girl is DECIDEDLY player grade, but plays and sounds fantastic. This is a great chance to snag a killer guitar at a great price.
