Here’s an absolute beauty from 1977! This guitar was owner by a jazz player who played it regularly, but took very good care of it. It has the light cosmetic wear of a guitar that was played regularly for many years, but it is attractive patina rather than damage or ugly scars. The guitar plays phenomenally. It has been refretted with vintage 50s style gibson frets (which I strongly prefer over the wide and low 70s frets.)

This lovely L-5 was and is one of Gibson’s highest end archtop offerings and it shows. Fantastic craftsmanship, beautiful sound, amazing playability, and a wide neck that is to die for. Don’t miss out on this fantastic instrument!
